Rabbit Vaccinations
All rabbits scheduled for boarding must present proof of vaccination, including certificates that indicate the dates of current and past Nobivac and/or Filav/Eravac vaccines. Boosters for Nobivac Myxo RHD PLUS or Nobivac Myxo RHD, Filavac, and Eravac are required every 12 months. Since most veterinarians are now using Nobivac Myxo RHD PLUS, please ensure there is a 21-day gap between vaccination and the start of boarding to allow immunity to develop. Rabbits previously vaccinated have been properly transitioned to the new Nobivac Myxo RHD PLUS vaccine according to MSD switching guidelines. We also strongly suggest speaking to your vet about Yurvac for added protection in high risk enviroments.
General Health
Please advise us of any known illnesses or health issues your animal may have. In the unlikely event of an emergency you will be contacted immediately and we will act on your instructions. We ask for an emergency contact to be in place encase you are unreachable.
We advice treating your animals for fleas and mites before they stay, if we notice these on your pet, we will apply ivermectim and charge for the application costs.
Sadly small animals are very good at hiding illness and in the unlikely event your animal passes away we will contact you immediately to discuss your wishes. We cannot be held liable for an animal falling ill or passing whilst in our care.
We carry out frequent checks and ensure that all rabbits/ guinea pigs are kept clean, however we will not be held liable in the sad event that your rabbit becomes a victim of fly strike.
Abandonded animals
We reserve the right to rehome animals if they are not collected within 10 days of the agreed time. The extra days incured will be payable on collection of your animal
Food
We provide a mixture of species appropriate veg and salads. All our hay comes from Haybox or other high quality providers.
Accomodation
All our accomodation is spacious and above recomended guidelines. Guests have their own pens and under no circumstances are mixed with other guests. Enrichmenent, housing, feeding bowls and water bottles/bowls are provided.
Payment
Payment can be made by bank transfer before arrival or by cash on the day
